

Avalanche Ranch 2008: Activities
Avalanche Ranch has activities everyone will enjoy! Kids will be able to take part in seven different activity stations every day. The activities for each station will coincide with that days Bible Point. Below is some information about each activity!
- In addition to fun praise songs, kids sing at least one song each day that specifically ties to that day's Bible Point.
- Each day kids sing the Avalanche Ranch theme song, "Wild Ride!" which connects with the Bible Points.
- Each day the Sing & Play Stampede Leader summarizes the daily Bible story.
- Kids make Bible Point Crafts that remind them of each day's Bible story and Point. For example, a leather-bound Prayer Journal is a super way to remember God hears our prayers because God is with us.
- Kids listen to the Sing & Play Stampede songs as they're working
- Through Operation Kid-to-Kid, kids experience what it means to share God's love.
- In each day's exciting cliffhanger video segment, Chadder Chipmunk explains the daily Bible Point.
- Kids read and explore key Bible versus to discover more about God and what it means to love and follow him. Then kids do exciting, memorable devotional activities to help them apply what they've learned about God to their daily lives.
- Kids make and eat snacks to reinforce the daily Bible Point.
- Kids show Jesus' love by serving others. Each day one set of Ranch Crews makes the snacks for the entire VBS - even the preschoolers get a chance to serve others!
- Kids listen to Sing & Play Stampede songs as they make and eat their snacks.
- Kids play games that encourage them to apply what they've learned.
- Kids listen to Sing & Play Stampede songs as they play games.
- The games leader connects each game to the daily Bible Point.
- The Wild Bible Adventures Leader repeats the Bible Point each day.
- Kids experience the daily Bible story in a hands-on way. For example, kids will explore what it was like to have a disease that you really want to get rid of!
- Ranch Crew Leaders guide small-group discussions in which kids connect their unforgettable Bible experiences to real life.
- Kids watch a Spotlight Drama, which reminds them of the daily Bible Point and Bible story.
- Kids repeat the Sing & Play Stampede songs they've learned that day.
- Kids use drama to apply what they've learned throughout the day and to remember the day's Treasure Verse.
- Preschoolers sing the Sing & Play Stampede songs with the older kids.
- Preschoolers hear the Bible story and the Bible Point as they watch Chadder's Wild West Adventure.
- Preschoolers work on interactive pages in their Prairie Dog Bible Books. These books are also filled with eye-catching pictures and preschool-friendly Daily Challenges to do at home.
